Hanging with my cousin is always fun... Last night he came over to work on his website. I'd ordered dinner, sushi and sashimi. I was very brave, and had eel and the salmon eggs! While helping my mom prepare yesterday's dinner, she asked me what Gaetano's uncle Mario and Aunt Melissa got him for his birthday. I answered "They gave him $25 and some Playboy." I got gypped; we had roasted lamb, but it was pre-cooked! Apparantly mom and dad decided to make a ton of other food and opted for a ready-to-eat leg of lamb. Oh well, maybe next year. Instead I got a big fat greek belly ache -- I swear, labor was less painful -- so its going to be a rough night. Tomorrow, when I'm feeling better I'll post some pictures and whatnot.

Today very well may turn out to be My Big Fat Greek Easter. We're heading to my parent's house later to celebrate Easter/Mom's Birthday/Gaetano's Birthday in typical greek style. That's right, we'll be roasting a lamb in the backyard.

Chris Flick is absolutely amazing; he's done it again. His MX North Cartoons are hillarious. I'm particularly fond of the one of Massimo dealing candy and Ray running around like a chicken with his head cut off. Great stuff!

Wow, what a night. Matt (my cousin " Nasby ", a radio DJ in Palm Springs) and I were up almost all night working on the new layout and it is looking pretty darn good if I do say so myself... I think I got to bed at about 3:30am and was up by about 8:30. Been working on the site all day. Can't wait to get it finished and online!

Kicking back with a friend of mine, she asked me to look for a movie she saw in her childhood. Well we found the book for her but not the movie. Doing this for her reminded me of a movie I saw as a kid, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians . At my optometry appointment last February, it was recommended that I see a specialist, and that what I experience is a common early symptom of Multiple Sclerosis. In case the self-portrait just wasn't enough for you, there's two new shots in the Miscellaneous Photo Album April 6th and Cheek 2 Cheek are the two new shots. Yes, I have had a drink ;-). Its much more red in the light, and I'm sure it will get a little lighter over the next couple of days. Little by little I'll lighten it more and by summer it should be the way I want it. :-)

A few friends have asked me to take the picture of my new hair color myself instead of waiting for someone else to take it for me. Self portraits always look funky... I'll show you anyway in the Miscellaneous galler . It looks much more red in person and the red highlights look much lighter as well. It all depends on the lighting.

I got up the courage to dye my hair even lighter/redder than before. I went with "apricot" which is is pretty much the color of an apricot's skin. Because my hair is so dark naturally, it won't get nearly as light as I'd like. The L'Oreal Couleur Experte line comes with a second step for highliting, which is what's in my hair now as I type.
